Race Gear & Arrival Times

Hey Girls!

Well I just bought these new shorts from the running store in Columbia and they have pockets for your gels. They are made by Race Ready. I decided to get them so I wouldn't have to wear my fuel belt on race day. I will have my belt with me but think I will be more comfortable without it plus there are like 8 water stops. The Race Ready short are super comfy and really light weight. If anyone is interested in getting a pair you can buy them on line at www.raceready.com or Feet First in Columbia (behind the mall) had several pairs. They have a pocket on each side that have a velcro flap and then 4 small mesh pockets and one large pocket on your backside. They were $29.99.

I also today received my packet from TNT with our jersey and all the info & tickets for the weekend. Glad it came, I was getting worried I wasn't going to have it in time.

What time is everyone planning on getting down to VA Beach on Saturday??? - check in isn't until 4pm but the expo closes at 6pm. If possible I would like to all meet up and then go to the expo together, that way we can try to sort out the corral thing since everyone so far is different. I will try to get to VA Beach around the same time as everyone else. We will be coming up from Nags Head, NC. I leave this saturday and will be in touch by cell phone, I don't think we are going to have internet access at our house.

Don't forget to pack your powerbars, gels, good undergarments etc..., and bring all your paperwork!!! I have a whole stick of body glide if any one would like to use it for race day!!!

I checked those shorts out and they look good. Do they run big or small? I can't decide if I should do a small or medium. Getting shorts that are not the right size will suck. I am going up to the running store this weekend. Don't know when though.

I got medium(I am between size 8-10) so you would probably be a small. I got them at Feet First in Columbia. Did you check and see if the Annapolis store had them? I am sure they do.
