14 DAYS 'TILL 13.1 MILES
OKAY GIRLS! 14 DAYS AND COUNTING UNTIL WE RUN 13.1 MILES.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IT IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER.
14 DAYS AND ALL OF OUR HARD WORK AND
ASS-BUSTING WILL BE TOTALLY WORTH EVERY DAMN SECOND WE SPENT RUNNING, RAISING MONEY AND I KNOW IN SOME CASES WORRYING ABOUT RUNNING & RAISING MONEY.
I THINK THAT THIS WEEKEND IN VA BEACH WILL BE ONE WE WILL TELL OUR CHILDREN ABOUT, WE WILL LOOK BACK AT THE PICTURES AND THINK ABOUT WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE WE HAD TOGETHER AND MAYBE THE SMALL PART WE DID WILL HAVE SAVED SOMEONE LIKE ME.
SO THE NEXT WEEK IS GOING TO BE THE LAST REAL TRAINING WEEK. MAKE SURE TO GET A GOOD LONG RUN IN THIS WEEKEND... CAUSE IT'LL BE YOUR LAST UNTIL SEPT.4TH!

I can not believe this is real and not a dream. If I can finish this, I can do just about anything!!! Except find a boyfriend in St. Mary's county. I totaled it up and we have raised $12,707.00. It is probably more because I only counted what is on our websites and the $400 that Harmony hasnt posted yet.

Sarah you are definetly are great motivator and I am going to make sure I get a long run in on friday now!!! I just can't wait until race day!!!!!!!!! What we have all done is just truly amazing!!! Keep up the good work in these next 2 weeks ladies. No time to slack off now! We have the whole month of septemeber to do that!!! Then I think we should pick another run to stay in shape. We do have a reunion coming up next summer!!!

Since I first laid eyes on you at 4:30pm June 9, 1978, beautiful and full of life, you've been a joy beyond measure. I am so proud of you and your friends, you all are becoming wonderful women and all the experiences you've had together will continue to bond you even closer.
I can't wait to cheer you on to the finish... realizing all you can be and knowing how powerfully effect your decisions and actions can influence the world around you.
We'll pray that the $'s raised will indeed make a difference in someone's life, as those who ran before made a difference in yours and mine!!!!
