aghh

I am so freaking sore. This is the worst I have been all along. Probably because I had to move tables and clean up after the wedding reception last night, but I am in pain. my back, my legs and my neck. My legs are pretty weak too.

One the bright side, I have lost 9 pounds!

YARD SALE

YARD SALE JULY 16TH IN CROFTON.
ANYONE CAN COME AND STAY THE NIGHT BEFORE. IF YOUR NOT STAYING I THINK WE SHOULD BE SET UP BY 7AM. SO IM PLANNING ON HAVING EVERYTHING PRICED AND SETTING IT UP AROUND 6:30AM. CRAZY YARD SALE PEOPLE COME OUT EARLY.
WE CAN PUT AN AD IN THE PAPER, PENNYSAVER, MAYBE CRAIGS LIST?
SERIOUSLY I DONT EVEN THINK WE NEED TO ADVERTISE THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE OUT AND AROUND IN THE MORNINGS HERE. MY FRIEND FROM WORK DONATED A SLEEPER SOFA. I HAVE A TON OF CRAP.

Aaron & Erin Fundraiser at Kiss Cafe

Hey Ladies!

Just wanted to let you know Aaron will probably end up playing for us on Aug. 12th (Friday Night). He just needs to finalize with Kiss Cafe to make sure that it is okay. They get married Sunday so I will get all the details smoothed out once they are back from their honeymoon.

I would go ahead and mark the 12th on your calendar.

P.S. Don't forget to collect things for the yard sale on the 16th of July!!!!!!!!

I talked to the owner of Outback and he donated (2) $45 tuckaways for us to raffle off at the yard sale. I am going to work this week on making raffle tickets. I also have a a $50 gift card to Ikea. It wasn't donated but it's mine that I never used. I checked the balance and it is still $50. If you guys know anyone at any businesses up there, perhaps you can get them to donate a little something. There is a corporate donor form in the fundraising binder.

All the Information I Have Found Out Today!!!

Hey Girls!!!

After several emails, phone calls, and reading lots of fine print later this is what I have found out about labor day/race weekend and what Jamie and I are doing:

I am attending everything for starters. We check in our hotel the Cavalier on Sept. 3rd-day before the race. I am getting a Hotel room for Jamie and I and possibly Billy Savage will be sharing our room as well. He is doing the race but not with TNT. I only signed myself up for transportation which will take us to the expo to pick up our race packets the day before(but we may just drive ourselves also). Jamie and I will both be attending the Pasta Party-the night before the race, possibly Billy also. Jamie and I, along with possibly Billy will be attending the TNT Victory Celebration Party. THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM THE RNR CONCERT. The TNT Victory Celebration is dinner, DJ, and dancing for 3 hrs. Damian did not know specific times but said possibly 6-9pm. Jamie and I will also be attending the concert put on by RNR Half. In the fees section is where I got Jamie an extra ticket. Damian (Sarah's fill in while she is out) stated they he does not know the exact times for the TNT celebration or the concert (the race web site said time TBD) but for the Arizona RNR 1/2 it was TNT from 6-9 then concert after. I am planning on doing both even if I have to cut one short. Looks like we check out from the hotel on Sept. 5th-day after the race!!!

Sounds like we will definelty have plenty to do to celebrate our victory!!!!!! Depending on when Billy gets back to me I will send out my forms either tonight or tomorrow morning.

We are staying at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach. I sent an email to Sarah and asked how many nights we were staying but she isn't in until I think the 23rd.

The Cavalier is an older hotel that is oceanfront. My Mom used to be a member of the Cavalier beach club and would spend her Sundays down there with my grandparents. They had an outside dance floor and a pool. She is really excited about getting to see the hotel again. The website for the hotel is www. cavalierhotel.com. We are staying in the tall building that is on the beach (I am pretty sure).

Hey guys -
Seems like everyone (including me) has been crazy busy lately. That is no excuse to slack off in your training and fundraising! We only have about 10 1/2 weeks to go! I don't know about you guys but that thought makes me nervous. There has been some stellar fundraising going on so far, but we shouldn't expect to only do the minimum. I am going to go to Outback and talk to them about some sponsorship, as well as possibly donating a tuckaway for us to raffle off at the yard sale. Maybe we could all approach a local business and ask for a gift certificate to raffle off. We can sell raffle tickets at the yard sale and then pick the winner that day. All we would have to do then is mail the gift certs out. I was also going to try Ruby Tuesdays. I got a corporate sponsorship packet from TnT, if anyone wants I can fax or scan it to them. There really isn't anything great in it that is any different than the other folder.

Congrats to Harmony for getting the ball rolling and setting up her website!

Time to Recommit

Hi ladies - its time to recommit for the TnT program. This means we need to provide a credit card number so if we do not meet our minimum (which we will), they will have something to hold us responsible for the remainder. I called Sarah and asked about this and she said they will not charge your credit card or put a hold on your balance, which is good since mine are pretty much maxed out. We also need to pick a roommate and let them know if we will be attending the pasta party and victory celebration (and if we will be bringing guests). If you havent yet, you will be getting a packet in the mail with this. I put yes for the activities, so I hope everyone will. I am also forcing Kim to be my roommate (she has no say in this).

Receiving this stuff in the mail made me worry about not maiking the minimum. I am sure we will, but it would be just my luck to go through all this and only raise the $85 I have so far :)

Guess what I did :(

I was very proud of myself for getting my letters together and mailing them out this week. I was just looking at one of my letters because I was printing out more and I realized a big mistake I made. I am about 90% sure that I sent all of my letters out with Andrea's webs address on them! I know it was on the donor form but I just realized I think it was on the letters too! I am such an idiot!

On the up side ~ I went to Mailboxes Etc to get copies done and the girl there gave me 150 copies of my letter and donor forms (with the correct info) and a while bunch of envelopes for $10. She read the letter and saw what we were doing. Isn't that nice!
